The Foundation has launched the Stable Communities Project in Shabwah Governorate.

Under the auspices of the Office of Social Affairs, Labor, and the local authorities in Shabwa Governorate, the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, funded by the Jussor program, conducted the first training course (9 June to 15 June 2021) for community committees in conflict resolution skills and mechanisms for the peaceful resolution of disputes. The project targeted three districts (Ataq, Rawda, and Mayfaa).

This activity came after the formation of community committees in each directorate. They were trained in conflict identification and analysis skills and mechanisms for peaceful conflict resolution and resolution, under the leadership of trainer Hiam Al-Qarmoushi, to build their capacity to understand and resolve disputes and societal tensions peacefully. The beneficiaries expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the idea of the project and its importance in improving local stability and contributing to peace and community peace.

The Jusoor program seeks to reduce local conflicts and promote social cohesion in the targeted areas. A Jusoor program works with communities to address grievance patterns that are sticking points in national peace dialogues and seeks to create space for under-represented voices to engage in peacebuilding. The program relies on existing conflict mitigation mechanisms developed at the local and national levels.
