The Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development (BHF) has organized, at its headquarters in Seiyun, a ceremony to launch its new identity for its future work, after 6 years of its development, community, and service contributions through a number of different programs and projects at the level of Hadhramout and Shabwa Governorates, by strengthening its effective partnerships with many organizations and institutions, internal and external donors.
At the ceremony, the head of the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, Judge Akram Nassib Al-Amiri, confirmed that the new identity of the foundation came after a six-month evaluation of the foundation’s work over the past six years and its achievements and development interventions in many societal issues, most notably health and security. Judge/ Al-Amri explained that the Foundation is proud of what it has provided, and today that identity is represented in working on seven main goals (eradication of poverty, good health and prosperity, quality education, decent work and economic growth, peace, justice, and equality, and establishing partnerships to achieve the goals). While the Executive Director of the Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, Eng. Abeer Saleh Bin Godel, reviewed the Foundation’s activities, programs, and projects implemented in partnership with a number of local foundations and international organizations, which had a positive impact on its comprehensiveness in human development and material support for places of weakness in furniture and construction in the fields of health security and society,
Eng. Bin Godel confirmed that the identity of the Foundation came from the successes achieved by the Foundation in its previous sustainable development and changed its previous scarf to a new one and a new identity for ambition and striving for universality by adopting its new logo name (The Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development (BHF), in addition to its colors and seven goals from within the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations in light of the developments experienced by the world in general and our country in particular.
The Deputy Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadhramout Valley, Eng. Muhammad Khamis Al-Tamimi, praised what the foundation had achieved despite its short establishment period and in difficult and complex circumstances in many areas, and said that it had formed a model of effective institutional work in Hadhramout Valley, which extended its activities to the governorate and beyond. This was expressed by the Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Guidance and Endowments in Hadhramoit Valley and the Desert, Al-Sheikh Muhammad Fouad Belfas, and the head of the Al-Wasat Foundation for Development, Al-Sheikh Maarouf Baabad, and the head of the Addameer Social Charitable Foundation, Al-Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Haddar, the director of the Women’s Development Department at the office of the agent, Ms. Kafa bin Ali Jaber, and a representative The office of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Mr. Zaki Hadi Bahshwan, expressed their happiness with what they heard of the achievements made by the foundation during the short period of its establishment in many fields, stressing their partnership in working with it and overcoming all obstacles, contributing to its new identity that will serve the community in testing the appropriate goals to contribute to the sustainable development of society.
The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramout Governorate for the Affairs of the Directorates of the Valley and the Desert, Eng. Hisham Muhammad Al-Saidi, and a number of personalities and civil society organizations in Hadhramout Valley, as well as representatives of the various media outlets.
