Launch of training workshop to support community accountability initiatives in Yemen

Under the Institutional and Economic Resilience Enhancement Project in Yemen (SIERY), funded by the European Union in Yemen and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Renaissance Makers Foundation, and in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, a training workshop was launched today on “Supporting and Building the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations in Community Accountability Initiatives within the Local Cooperation Portfolio between Local Authorities and Community Components.” The workshop was attended by 30 representatives from various civil society organizations in Aden, Lahj, Taiz, and Hadhramaut, including the Bin Habreish Foundation for Development (BHF).
