OUR AREAS OF WORK

  • Peace, justice and strong institutions:

Through this area, we are working with authorities and similar organizations to contribute to the promotion of human rights and the development of peaceful and inclusive communities by raising awareness of the harms of all forms of violence and suspicious practices based on corruption and bribery, by advocating for the strengthening of the role of fair justice and the promotion of the rule of law, and by supporting the participation of youth and women in building effective and accountable institutions at all levels.

  • Economic empowerment

The Foundation, with its partners, contributes to combating poverty and supporting the resilience of vulnerable local communities by promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and qualifying productive workers through a set of professional and technical knowledge and skills that secure job opportunities and decent job and economic competition in the labor market that enhances opportunities for local economic growth.

  • Health and the environment

We work in partnership with the competent authorities to improve the level of health and environmental services by spreading the culture of preventive medicine, seeking for vulnerable communities to obtain adequate and affordable health care, the need to maintain stability and conservation of natural resources, and advocating for health and environmental response campaigns in emergency situations, as prerequisites for good health.

  • Education

Together with similar actors, the Foundation seeks to achieve Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals to ensure “universal and quality education for all and enhanced opportunities for lifelong learning.” By ensuring that learners have a secure and appropriate environment and better skills that promote equitable access to learning opportunities and improved learning outcomes regardless of gender, geographical location, and economic situation,

  • Emergency protection

Through this area, we work to actively contribute with the concerned authorities and in accordance with humanitarian protection standards, to protect those affected by crises and coordinate efforts to ensure a comprehensive response to emergencies based on migration and displacement and the consequent loss of shelter, loss of food and drug needs, family breakdown, and gender-based violence that weakens access to justice.
