Implementing the training workshop on community accountability and solid waste management

Today, Wednesday May 28 2025 AD, in the city of Sayun, the Martyr Bin Habrish Foundation for Development implemented the second-day training workshop on community accountability and solid waste management, for the Community Development Committee in Sayun District, within the project “Enhancing the role of community committees in participating in resolving the problem of waste,” in partnership with the Raneen Foundation! Yemen and Save World, funded by the European Union. In partnership with the Community Accountability Network.

The Director General of Sayun District and Head of the Local Council, Mr. Khaled Saleh Belfas, confirmed that this project is an important step towards strengthening community partnership in managing local affairs, praising the role played by civil society organizations in supporting development and environmental efforts at the district level.

Achieving the project’s objectives in involving the community and finding sustainable solutions to the waste problem, and intensifying the awareness aspect of the community, especially in the aspect of solid waste management.
