Steering Committee of the “Resilient Communities in Wadi Hadramout” Project Holds Its Regular Meeting

The sixth meeting of the Steering Committee for the Resilient Communities Project was held on Monday, 29 June 2026. The project is implemented by the Bin Hbreesh Foundation for Development (BHF) in partnership with Resonate! Yemen and funded by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).

The project aims to strengthen community resilience by supporting vulnerable and returning youth, facilitating their social reintegration, and promoting their economic empowerment.

During the meeting, chaired by Eng. Hisham Mohammed Al-Saeedi, Assistant Governor of Hadramout for Wadi and Desert Districts Affairs, Eng. Khalil Bin Moneef, Acting Executive Director of BHF, presented the progress achieved in implementing the project’s economic grants for targeted youth, as well as the support and rehabilitation of government psychosocial support centers. He also reviewed the key achievements and outcomes accomplished during the second quarter of 2026.

The committee further discussed the main challenges facing the project team and explored appropriate solutions in coordination with the committee members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Steering Committee commended the project’s level of achievement and the significant progress made by the Foundation in successfully implementing its activities and benefiting the target groups. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the project and helping overcome any challenges or obstacles that may arise during implementation.
