دشنت مؤسسة الشهيد بن حبريش للتنمية BHF مشروع تعزيز ثقافة الطب الوقائي ودعم مرضى السكري في مديريات وادي حضرموت ( تريم – ساه – سيؤن – شبام – القطن – حريضه – وادي العين وحورة ) بالشراكة مع مكتب وزارة الصحة العامة والسكان بالوادي والصحراء.
ويهدف المشروع الى تحسين المستوى الصحي لأصحاب الامراض المزمنة، حيث يرتكز المشروع على اربع محاور( التوعية الصحية – توزيع المواد العينية لمرضى السكري – المسح الميداني – بناء القدرات للكادر التطوعي بالمؤسسة).
من خلال اعداد منشورات توعوية صحية تهدف الى زيادة وعي المستهدفين وكذا تقديم استشارات صحية مجانية لهم، وأيضاً تم بناء قدرات عدد 40 شخص من متطوعي المؤسسة بالمديريات المستهدفة للنزول الى المناطق المستهدفة وعمل مسوحات عشوائية وتقديم الاستشارات الصحية المناسبة لهم، أيضاً سيتم توزيع مواد عينية (تمر مديني) تتعلق بمرضى السكري بناء على استمارات وكشوفات الرفع من المتطوعين الميدانيين.
الجدير بالذكر ان هذا المشروع جاء تلبية لحاجة ماسة من قبل المجتمع وخصوصاً شريحة المصابين بداء السكري وتعاملهم مع شهر رمضان المبارك ويستمر المشروع الى 30 ابريل من العام 2022م.

The Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development (BHF) has launched a project to promote the culture of preventive healthcare and support diabetic patients in the districts of Hadhramout Valley (Tarim-Sah-Seiyun-Shibam-Al-Qattn-Haridha-Wadi Al-Ain and Houra) in partnership with the office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in the valley and the desert.
The project aims to improve the health level of people with chronic diseases, as the project is based on four axes (health awareness – distribution of in-kind materials for diabetics – field survey – capacity building for volunteer staff in the Foundation).
Through the preparation of health awareness leaflets aimed at increasing the awareness of the targets as well as providing them with free health consultations, the capacity of 40 volunteers of the foundation was built in the targeted districts to go to the targeted areas and conduct random surveys and provide them with appropriate health consultations, and in-kind materials related to patients were distributed (diabetes patients).
It is worth noting that this project came in response to an urgent need in the community, especially the segment of people with diabetes and their dealings with the blessed month of Ramadan. The project will continue until April 30, 2022.
