The team of the Water for Peace Project in Yemen at the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, which is implemented by the Foundation with funding from the International Organization for Migration and funded by the Korean government, met with the Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Lawyer / Ahmed Abdullah Bahashwan.
In the meeting, the project team of the Foundation introduced the components of the project, which targets a number of areas of Tarim District, and consists of holding training courses, conflict resolution, natural water management, organizing awareness campaigns that include women, men and youth regarding resolving water-related conflicts, holding community peacebuilding meetings, and community awareness campaign activities to activate the roles of youth and women in conflict resolution efforts related to natural water sources, noting that the duration of the project implementation is three months.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lawyer Bahashwan welcomed the team of the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development in the valley and desert of Hadramawt, praising its development interventions, which had a tangible impact on reality in many fields, except development or health through the implementation of quality programs through its partnerships with donors and financiers of those programs, considering the Foundation one of the model institutions in its qualitative programs.
The Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the valley and desert of Hadhramaut, lawyer / Ahmed Abdullah Bahashwan, stressed the office’s contribution to overcoming all obstacles and difficulties for the success of the project.
