The community committee was honored by the Seiyun City Cleaning Fund.

We are proud of the positive results achieved by the Community Waste Management Committee through the efforts it has made through coordination and meetings with relevant authorities and stakeholders in order to promote waste management in the city of Seiyun in a positive way. The formation of this committee was one of the outputs of the Waste Management Project implemented by BHF Foundation in partnership with the Accountability Network and Resonate! Yemen, with funding from Saferworld during the current year 2025. As a result, the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Hadhramout Valley and Desert Governorate honored the committee in appreciation of their prominent role in promoting environmental and civilizational work and supporting the fund’s efforts in achieving its goals
