Participation of BHF Executive Director in the (OASIS) Forum in Jakarta

Ms. Abeer, Executive Director of the Shahid Bin Habresh Foundation for Development, participated in the second (OASIS) Forum, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 19-21, 2026, with regional youth participation from Yemen, Gulf countries, and Red Sea countries.

The participation was part of a regional forum funded by the European Union, focusing on enhancing the resilience of coastal communities in the face of climate change and developmental challenges. Ms. Abeer participated in interactive discussions and design labs aimed at developing practical youth initiatives in the fields of coastal resilience, blue economy, and sustainable environmental tourism.

The Indonesian experience in clean water and energy solutions was also presented, and possibilities for transferring and adapting it to the local and regional context were discussed. This participation comes within the framework of the academic, research, and developmental role in supporting environmental innovation and regional

cooperation.
