The head of the Sayun Court of Appeal, His Honor Judge Ali Abdullah Hael, in conjunction with the head of the Sayun Primary Court branch in the city of Sayun, His Honor Judge Sami Salah Al-Kathiri, opened a hall in the Sayun Court yesterday, Thursday, after it was furnished, equipped, and prepared to provide an environment that respects the privacy of women, within the activities of the project to promote social accountability in the governorate of Hadhramaut with funding from the Bin Habreish Foundation for Development.
In the opening ceremony, which was attended by the director general of the office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Wadi and Desert Hadhramaut, lawyer Ahmed Abdullah Bahshawan, His Honor Judge Mukhtar Ali Bajbir, Judge Ahlam Hussein Al-Shoobi, and judges in the Sayun Primary Court, the head of the Sayun Court of Appeal, His Honor Judge Ali Abdullah Hael, confirmed in a speech that this vital project, which is represented in the preparation of a special women’s court hall, is a kind of a tribute to women working in the field of justice, and that this project should be an incentive to establish a special building for the Sayun Court in the future.
For his part, the head of the Sayun Primary Court, Judge Sami Salah Al-Kathiri, expressed his happiness at the launch of this project. For her part, the director general of the General Administration for Women’s Development at the office of the deputy governor of Hadhramaut for the affairs of the valley and desert, Ms. Kafa bin Ali Jaber, expressed her happiness at the establishment of this hall for women’s issues and its preparation, which will be a starting point for other projects.
For his part, the acting head of the Bin Habreish Foundation for Development BHF, Mr. Khalil bin Menif, indicated that the implementation of this project comes within the framework of the activities of the project to promote social accountability in the governorate of Hadhramaut that the Foundation is implementing, conveying the greetings of the Executive Director of the Foundation, Engineer Abeer Saleh bin Godel, who gave this project great attention and which has become a tangible reality in the Sayun Primary Court.
The private office of Judge Ahlam Hussein Al-Shoobi, a judge in the Sayun Primary Court, was also opened after it was furnished and equipped in support of the Bin Habreish Foundation for Development for women in the judicial sector in Wadi Hadhramaut. The ceremony also included the awarding of a commemorative shield presented by the Sayun Primary Court in recognition of its support for the Sayun Court and its support for women working in the court.
