News of the first coordination session of the Advisory Committee

Within the implementation of Community Resurgence Project implemented by the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development in partnership with Resonate! Yemen , and Funded by Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), which will be implemented in three districts (Sayoun – Qatten – Shibam).
The Foundation held the first Coordination session with the Advisory Committee on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the headquarters of the Foundation in the presence of: –
Mr. Khaled Saleh Belfas, Director General of Sayoun Directorate
Colonel /Khaled Awad Bajham, Chief of Staff of the Security of the Valley and the Desert
Mr. Munir Faraj Suwaidan, nominee of the Ministry of Social Affairs office in the valley and the desert.
Mr. Anwar Ashour Musong, a community figure from Shibam District
The online meeting was attended by: –
Engineer /Hisham Mohammed Al-Saidi, Assistant Undersecretary in the Valley and Desert
Legal/Mahdi Ayza Aliou Legal Advisor, Cotton Directorate
The Coordination session included a detailed explanation about the Community Resurgence Project, and mentioned the components of the project that are centered on: –

Awareness raising (Advocacy), PSS, economic support and Rehabilitation.
Some of the Advisory Committee’s observations and recommendations were drawn from this meeting.
