اختتمت اليوم بمدينة سيئون الورشة التدريبية حول العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي لسلطات الضبط القضائي بوادي حضرموت نظمتها مؤسسة الشهيد بن حبريش للتنمية بالتعاون مع منظمة فريدريش ايبرت الالمانية – فرع اليمن , وهدفت الى رفع كفاءات رجال الضبط القضائي في الامن والشرطة العاملين من الذكور والاناث للتعريف بمفهوم العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي وكيفية التعامل مع الناجين من العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي من النساء والفتيات والاطفال .
وتلقى المشاركين في الورشة التدريبية على مدى ثلاثة ايام من قبل مدربات الورشة / وميض شاكر و ندى الشريف من منظمة فريدريش ايبرت الالمانية – فرع اليمن , على معارف ومفاهيم وخبرات نظرية وعملية عبر جملة من التمارين لتلك المحاور في مجال (اسباب العنف وانواعه وتوثيقه اضافة الى الاستجابة للعنف ومراحله وتنفيذه والتخطيط له ) .
وفي حفل اختتام الورشة عبر نائب مدير عام الامن والشرطة بوادي حضرموت العقيد / حسين مقشم عن شكره وتقديره لكل من مؤسسة بن حبريش للتنمية و منظمة فريدريش ايبرت الالمانية – فرع اليمن على تنفيذ هذه الدورة التي ستسهم في رفع قدرات وكفاءات المشاركين فيها من افراد الضبط القضائي في اقسام الشرطة , ناقلا تحيات مدير عام الامن والشرطة بوادي وصحراء حضرموت العميد مبارك العوبثاني لكافة المشاركين والمنظمين على الجهود التي بذلوها خلال فترة انعقاد الورشة , مؤكدا بأن المجتمع في حضرموت مجتمع محافظ ومسالم والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي قليلا ما يحصل ولكن هذه الدورة سيكون لها الاثر ان شاء الله في الواقع العملي في كيفية التعامل مع تلك القضايا .
وبدوره اوضح المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة فريدريش ايبرت الالمانية – فرع اليمن الاستاذ / محمود قيّاح بان سيئون تعتبر المحطة الخامسة للمنظمة في تنفيذ الورش لأفراد الامن والشرطة في رفع كفاءاتهم وقدراتهم والعريف في ثلاثة محاور رئيسية ( العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي , حقوق الانسان والمحتجزين , حل النزاعات ) بأجمالي 20 ورشة تدريبية تم تنظيمها في محافظات تعز ولحج و عتق بشبوه والمكلا ومأرب وسيئون ثم العودة الى تعز .
وأكد قيّاح بانه ينبغي ان تتجاوز مخرجات الورشة جدران القاعة للتطبيق العملي لمخرجاتها ونقل المعرفة لجميع زملائهم في العمل .
فيما عبرت المهندسة / عبير بن غودل المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة بن حبريش للتنمية , عن شكرها وتقديرها للمشاركين في الورشة الى تفاعلهم ومناقشاتهم خلال ايام الدورة , مشيرة بأن الدورة نوعية سيما انها استهدفت شريحة تحتاج للإسهام في رفع قدراتها ومهاراتها ومعارفها في التعريف والتعامل مع العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي سيما في الظروف الاجتماعية والاقتصادية الصعبة , لافتة بأن تطوير المهارات في الجانب الامني هو أمر مهم لابد منه ليتم التعامل مع معظم القضايا المتعلقة بالعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي , مؤكدة بان مؤسسة بن حبريش للتنمية حرصت ان تكون منفذه لهذه الورشة من خلال اهدافها السامية وشراكاتها مع المنظمات والمؤسسات لخدمة وتنمية مختلف شرائح المجتمع .
وفي ختام الحفل كرمت مؤسسة الشهيد بن حبريش للتنمية مدير عام امن الوادي والصحراء والمستشار القانوني بإدارة الامن , اضافة الى تكريم المدير التنفيذي للمنظمة ومدربات الدورة بدروع وهدايا تذكارية والمشاركين بشهادات مشاركة .
حضر حفل اختتام الدورة قيادة ومسئولي الدوائر بمؤسسة الشهيد بن حبريش للتنمية .

Capacity building workshop on gender-based violence for Judicial Enforcement Authorities at the Hadhramaut Valley, organized by the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung – Yemen branch, has concluded today in Sieyoun. The workshop aimed to raise the competencies of judicial officers in the security and police sectors, both male and female, to introduce the concept of gender-based violence and how to address with survivors of gender-based violence against women, girls, and children.
Participants in the 3-day training workshop have received knowledge, concepts, and theoretical and practical experience from the workshop’s trainers, Shaker and Nada Al-Sharif from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung – Yemen’s branch – through a range of exercises in the fields of causes, types, documentation, response to violence, its phases, implementation, and planning.\
Colonel Hussein Maqshem, Deputy Director-General of Security and Police in the Hadhramaut Valley, has expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung – Yemen branch, for the implementation of this workshop, which will contribute to raising the capacities and competencies of the judicial officers in the police sectors. He conveyed the greetings of the Director-General of Security and Police in Hadhramaut Valley and Desert to all participants and organizers for their efforts during the workshop.
In turn, the executive director of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung-Yemen Branch, Mr. Mahmoud Qiaq has explained that Seiyun is considered the fifth stop of the organization in carrying out workshops for security and police personnel to increase their capabilities and abilities. The sergeant is in three main axes (gender-based violence, human rights, and detainees, conflict resolution) with a total of 20 capacity building workshops organized in the governorates of Taiz, Lahij, Ataq Shabwa, Al-Mukalla, Sieyun, and then return to Taiz. Also, Qiaq stressed that the workshop’s outputs should go beyond the walls of the hall to practically apply its outputs and transfer knowledge to all their coworkers
The workshop participants were appreciated by Abeer Bin Godel, Executive director, Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development for their interaction and discussions during the workshop. She noted that the workshop was a qualitative one, especially since it targeted a segment that needed to contribute to raising its abilities, skills, and knowledge in the definition and to address gender-based violence, particularly in difficult social and economic circumstances.
At the end of the ceremony, the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development honored the Director-General of Valley and Desert Security and the Legal Advisor of the Security Department, in addition to honoring the Executive Director of the organization and the trainers of the workshop with shields, souvenirs, and participants with participation Certificate The closing ceremony of the workshop has attended by the leadership and officials of the departments of the Martyr Bin Habreesh v for Development.
