The Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, in partnership with the Yemen Resonate! Yemen Foundation, opened in Seiyun a program to build the capacity of security cadres at the local level in the districts of Seiyun, Tarim, and Al-Qattn, within the program to enhance security at the local in Yemen, which is implemented by the Foundation in partnership with Resoante! Yemen Foundation, and the program aims to raise the capabilities of and acquaintances with security cadres in the legal aspects.

75 participants in the program will receive knowledge, skills, and experience in three main axes; the first axis (the rights of detainees in Yemeni and international law); the second axis is “Strengthening the relationship between local security forces and the community,” while the third and final axis is “Strengthening the legal and police capabilities of the security man and preserving the rights of the accused,” by the trainers of the program, lawyer Sami Al-Azani and Colonel Abdul-Nasser Al-Tamimi.

At the opening of the program, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Affairs of the Valley and Desert Districts, Eng. Hisham Muhammad Al-Saidi, expressed the thanks of the local authorities in Hadhramout Valley and the Sahara to the Martyr Bin Habrish Foundation for Development for its interest in the security aspect of enhancing the capabilities of this institution for nearly a year and a half, as a tributary to the local authorities Its interventions in human development in the fields of training and rehabilitation, and its interventions in supplementing the deficiencies in the capacity-building of security cadres to enhance security in the Hadhramaut valley and desert.

In turn, the Deputy Director General of Security and Police in the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, Colonel Ali Faraj Al-Sa’i, stressed the importance of this program because of its main axes in raising the capabilities of security cadres, pointing out that the security cadres are in dire need of training and continuous training to raise their security capabilities and skills to enhance security at the local level, expressing thanks and appreciation to the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation and its partner, the Resonate! Yaman Foundation, for their continuous interest in the security sector in Wadi Hadhramaut.

He wished the participants in the program to have the impact of this knowledge, skills and legal concepts on practical reality.

At the opening of the program, the Executive Director of the Martyr Bin Habrieesh Foundation for Development, Eng. Abeer Saleh Bin Goodel, stressed that the program aims to build the capabilities of security cadres in enhancing security at the local level to achieve stable security in the respect and application of the law and mutual respect between security and society.
