The Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, in partnership with the Resonate! Yemen Foundation, has concluded in Seiyun a program to build the capacity of security forces at the local level in the districts of Seiyun, Tarim, and Al-Qattn, on March 10, 2022, as part of the program to enhance security at the local in Yemen, which is being implemented by the Foundation in partnership with Resonate! Yemen Foundation.

The program aims to improve the legal capabilities and knowledge of security forces. Over a period of 9 days, 75 participants in the program received knowledge, skills, and experience in three main axes, the first axis: (the rights of detainees in Yemeni and international law); strengthening the relationship between local security forces and society; and strengthening capabilities. the closing ceremony, which was attended by Judge Mukhtar Al-Sabban, Head of the Military Court in the First Military District and Deputy Director General of Security and Police Colonel Ali Faraj Al-Sa’i, Engineer Abeer Saleh bin Ghodel, Executive Director of the Foundation, reviewed the interventions of the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development (BHF) with regard to the security aspect. ViaThe program to enhance security at the local level in Yemen, which is implemented by the Foundation during the period from December 2020 to April 2022, has the following axes: (community dialogues and local forums, capacity building of security cadres, initiatives that enhance the capabilities of security authorities.

Eng. Abeer appealed to the trainees and participants in the program about the importance of practical application of what they have learned and the transfer of that knowledge to their colleagues in the security establishment.

In turn, the Deputy Director General of Security and Police, Colonel Ali Faraj Al-Saei, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development for implementing the programs concerned with security and police and raising the capabilities and skills of individuals and security cadres.

While the speech of the targets delivered by one of the participants praised the level of information and expertise in many practical and legal fields, the Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development participated in the implementation of the program.
