BHF Launches a Training Program to Build the Capacities of Conflict Resolution Committee Leaders and Water User Groups among Men, Youth, and Women in Hadhramout Governorate”

As part of the “Water for Peace” project, BHF implemented a specialized training program to empower 60 young men and women from Local leaders in Hadhramout Governorate, Tarim District.

The program aims to build the capacities of committees in conflict resolution and mediation, integrated management, water resource management, and resolving water-related conflicts.

The program lasts for 14 consecutive training days and covers several key topics aimed at enhancing the participants’ skills in resource management and conflict resolution.

The training program was launched by the Deputy Governor of Hadhramout, Assistant for Valley and Desert Directorates, Mr. Abdulhadi Abdulllah Al-Temimi, and Mr. Hassan Mola Al-Duwailah, Director General of Tarim District and Head of the Local Council. They praised the innovative efforts made by the foundation to build the capacities of young men and women leaders in resolving conflicts and water-related issues.

The project is funded by IOM.
