The Water for Peace Project Team in Yemen Meets the Director General of Tarim District

The team of the Martyr Bin Habreesh Foundation for Development, who are in charge of the Water for Peace Project in Yemen, visited the Director General of Tarim District, Mr. Hassan Jaafar Salem Al-Duwailah.

During the visit, the project team explained the components of the project, which targets a number of areas in Tarim District, which revolves around holding community peace-building meetings and conducting awareness-raising media campaigns for the community to activate the roles of youth and women in efforts to resolve conflicts related to natural water resources.

The project team indicated that the project implementation period is three months.

For his part, Mr. Al-Duwailah welcomed the team of the Martyr Bin Habrish Foundation for Development in Wadi and Hadhramaut Desert.

The Director General of Tarim District confirmed the office’s contribution to facilitating all obstacles and difficulties that the team will face in implementing the project and that it will contribute to the success of this project.
